A surprise birthday party!

The title says it all...

A big thing happened on the 1st of March 2008:

Operation Surprise Birthday party for Sher Minn. Yes Sher Minn, I'm revealing your name here...muahahha

Her real birthday is actually on the 8th of March, we decided to celebrate earlier because we knew that we couldn't come back to Malacca on the 8th. Hnce, operation Surprise Birthday party for Sher Minn was launched.

Phase1:

Betsy and I lied to Sher Minn that we couldn't go back to Malacca for GACC where we were supposed to meet up. Reason? "We have a physics test coming up and Betsy doesn't want to go back because she wants to prepare for the test. And I'm not allowed to go back all alone without proper transport. Oh, but don't worry, we'll be coming back the next weekend (8th of march)."

She fell for it.

(Betsy became the victim of the plan too.)

Phase 2:

We lied to our other friends whom we were supposed to meet back in Malacca too so they all thought we couldn't make it back. Only my sisters and Sher Minn's younger sister knew that we were coming back to surprise Sher Minn. This was all done to ensure that the plan could be carried out perfectly without any suspicsion.

Phase 3:

We went around looking for a present like crazy, and finally, we settled with a watercolour tutorial book for her since we thought it might come in useful. Hope you really like your present Sher Minn. =D

Phase 4:

We went back to Malacca on saturday to surprise her!

We got her a cake and her birthday present was wrapped beautifully in newspaper and sealed with love using the lowest quality cellophane tape. Ahh....the things we do for friends....
